My father dreamed of being a pilot from the time he was five years old, and was able to live his dream. Too poor to go to college, he joined the Army Air Corps shortly before WWII, and became their youngest pilot a few months after his 19th birthday. He flew fighters in WWII, commanding fighter squadrons, and eventually flew for four governors with the State of Tennessee. Last, but not least, he was inducted in the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame.
All of the proceeds after publications costs will be donated to his two favorite charities. This book was a tremendous, emotional process for me and you will hear more about it in a later blog.
